New Lannion: a campus of the future for Orange

10/03/2025 – Orange’s long-awaited ‘New Lannion’ project is coming to fruition. The telecoms operator has unveiled its future campus, which will combine renovation and new build to modernise its historic site in Lannion (Côtes-d’Armor). Work is scheduled to start at the end of 2025, with handover scheduled for the end of 2027.

This ambitious project, led by Rennes-based property group Legendre, involves a vast worksite comprising 7,500 sq. metres of new buildings and 4,400 sq. metres of refurbished buildings. With a budget of €50 million, including €20 million dedicated to innovation and research, the main aim is to bring together nearly 1,200 employees in a modern, high-performance and eco-responsible working environment (HQE- High Environmental Quality-certified buildings). Designed by the Club architectural firm, the campus will be designed to meet new professional needs while adopting a strong environmental approach.

The New Lannion project represents a major turning point for the local ecosystem, making the region even more attractive to tech companies and talent. According to Vincent Legendre, Chairman of the Legendre Group: ‘With the New Lannion project, we are proud to be transforming an emblematic site for innovation in Brittany. This project embodies our commitment to the region’s industrial dynamism, combining sustainable construction and innovation to provide a pleasant, high-performance working environment.’

With New Lannion, Orange is acquiring a high-performance tool to meet the technological challenges of tomorrow, while anchoring its business in Brittany for the long term.
