7/02/2025 – Photonics Bretagne took part in the French Pavilion at Photonics West, held in San Francisco from 28 to 30 January 2025. This leading international event for the photonics industry was an opportunity to showcase our expertise in special optical fibres and components, with particular interest in our new large-core infinitely single-mode fibres, optimised for transporting high-power single-frequency lasers, and our bismuth-doped fibres, designed to improve the bandwidth available via an O-band amplifier for telecommunications.
Alongside Photonics Bretagne, a number of members also exhibited their technologies, illustrating the dynamism of the French photonics industry. They included Cailabs, Exail, Le Verre Fluoré, Imagine Optic, Leukos, Kwan-Tek, Oxxius, Data-Pixel, Alphanov, Irisiome Solutions, BKtel Photonics, Alpha-RLH, SEDI-ATI Fibres Optiques, Amplitude Laser, EXFO, Lumibird, Thalès, OptoSigma, Somos, Toptica Photonics and Vanguard Automation. A networking cocktail party organised with Business France and ALPHA-RLH was also an opportunity to strengthen exchanges with American players.
