Compressed hyperspectral microscopy for real-time biological imaging.
Our objective: To develop a compressed hyperspectral microscopy method, optimised for high-speed acquisition rates (e.g. identification of malignant tumours and observation of dynamic cellular processes). Lisa will work on implementing innovative algorithms (standard algorithms or machine learning approaches) that will optimise not only the speed of processing and reconstruction, but also the efficiency of these techniques in handling large three-dimensional volumes without requiring excessive computational resources.
