If we want the future to hold many more magnificent scientific breakthroughs and new technologies, we need to inspire people and train the talents of tomorrow!
That’s why Photonics Bretagne has a major role to play in promoting and developing continuing and initial training (including sandwich courses) in photonics in Brittany, and photonics, its professions and applications in general, among young people, teachers and the general public.
Continuing Education
In order to meet the recruitment and training needs of companies in the sector, Photonics Bretagne offers a tailor-made range of continuing training courses in optics and photonics, lasers, optical fibres, components, sensors, etc.
Initial Training
Photonics Bretagne acts as a link between training institutes and industry. We also support academic centres in the structuring and dissemination of initial training courses, and we facilitate the search for information (guidance, work placements, sandwich courses, apprenticeships, etc.).
Promoting Photonics
Photonics Bretagne plays an active role in promoting photonics to young people, teachers and the general public. We hold a wide range of educational initiatives designed to raise awareness and to highlight the professions and applications in the field.
