Visit to Orange’s Quantum and Photonics laboratories
Quantum Laboratory:
Paulette Gavignet, Erwan Pincemin, Marco Andersohn (Orange Innovation)
The tour of the quantum laboratory will be divided into two parts:
- Presentation of the concepts of QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) and their interest in meeting the challenges posed by the quantum threat to cryptography.
- Presentation of the CV-QKD (Continuous Variable, QKD with continuous variables) experimental bench currently under construction, basic components of the experimental bench and similarities/differences with conventional telecommunications systems.
Photonics Laboratory:
Fabienne Saliou (Orange Innovation)
Visit to the optical access research laboratory:
“For our contributions in standardisation, development and evaluations of future network equipment, we develop our laboratory expertise with tests of new optical technologies, from integrated components to systems.” |
