Our Missions
The Photonics Bretagne cluster has over 120 members (located in and outside Brittany). Our members are companies, research laboratories and HE schools, as well as other support structures. Its strategy for driving the photonics industry in Brittany is structured around three key areas:
REPRESENTÂ the Breton photonics ecosystem
PROMOTEÂ photonics innovation in all fields of application
STIMULATEÂ the economic and industrial development of its members
Our Actions
A long-standing involvement in national and European networks (Photonics France, Photonics21, EPIC, S3 CoP, Photonics DIH, etc.) to raise the profile of Brittany’s photonics excellence
A regular presence at world-class trade fairs to showcase our activities and our cluster
A calendar of varied events that we organize or co-organize to encourage exchanges and networking
A strong involvement in the Region’s application sector networks, to promote photonics wherever it is relevant
The participation in European projects to structure and stimulate the Breton industry
Educational initiatives aimed at the general public, secondary and higher education students, and companies, to raise awareness of the sector and boost the job market
